Our performance over the last 12 months has been really solid. We saw a modest contraction in revenues, which was as a result of lower levels of transactional and other one-off work.
But we also had some significant success stories. Within our Business Restructuring stream, understandably we saw significantly growth as well as in our Forensics stream and our Investment Management business.
I don't think we are going to see an immediate economic recovery; it is likely to take some time. And the challenge for us is how we continue to grow our core business but how we also seek to invest in the future. And the balance for us is getting the long term sustainability right, together with maintaining our competitiveness in the short term.
We are very much looking to grow ahead of the market and we have plans in place to develop our relationships with existing clients and new clients, but we are also looking at developing markets for the firm in public sector, in international opportunities and also in our international and domestic outsourcing business.
Although we've invested in the future, our operating margins and underlying profitability have held firm; however we have seen a slight reduction in firm profits largely as a result of the costs of the reorganisation.
